Shana Tova!

Here it is, erev erev Rosh HaShana, another year gone by. It's not too late to take advantage of the last few days of the year. I hope all of us can find that one thing we're going to work on for the coming year and stick to it!

I love the yomim tovim, being with family and friends and enjoying all the minhagim of the days is really amazing. I always feel an eternal connection to Hashem around these times. All the holidays, laws, and customs we have today go right back to Har Sinai. The fact that very little changes in the way we observe laws and that we've been practicing them for thousands of years should really make us feel like we are connected to something that spans generations and has existed since the beginning of the world. We should all take pride in knowing that we are part of an everlasting tradition and that every tefillah, minhag, halacha, etc. is absolute emes (truth)! At this time of year, let's all reaffirm our faith and our connection to Hashem and the generations past. May our tefillos be strong enough to make this our last Rosh HaShana in galus! Wishing you all a Kasiva V'Chasima Tova!
