Reminder of Golus

I'm sure everyone is aware of the recent "controversy" with the Chratsmach trees in the Seattle Airport. Basically, a Chabad Rabbi in Seattle was mad that there was no Menorah in the airport so he threatened to sue and instead of putting up a Menorah, the airport took down all the Chratsmach trees. This of course, was not the hope of the Rabbi but it doesn't really matter what his point was - the whole world understood. THE JEWS ARE THE GRINCH THAT STOLE THE CHRATSMACH TREES!

Yes, I am annoyed that from Nov. 1 - Jan. 1st, it's nothing but "Deck the Halls" and "HO, HO, HO" but I am aware that this is Golus. I think the Rabbi should have understood that even though we live in the "goldenah medinah" the "Land of the Free" this is still Golus and most regular people don't give a darn about Jews or their holidays. This is something that we have to deal with, and will have to deal with, until Moshiach comes, even in this wonderful country.

I just saw an article today that proves my point. Yeah that guy is a jerk but there are millions of other people who feel the exact same way as he does. Hashem should continue to allow us to live in peace in America and bring us speedily to the geulah, in time for Chanukkah.
